In Saturday's Saltwater Tournament semi-final, the Falcons lost a close battle against Butte College, 77-73. The game was another close one from start to finish, with just three points separating the teams at halftime. Freshman Dane Johnson had his highest scoring output of the season, leading the Falcons with 27 points while freshman point guard Cameron Wall also had his biggest game with 23 points. Sophomore Pierce Rexford recorded another double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds, and Joe Schneider added 13 rebounds.
The Falcons (3-4) will face San Mateo (8-2) on Sunday evening in the third-place game.
