The Falcons opened their 2019-20 Big 8 schedule against a determined and talented Santa Rosa squad with a hard-fought 81-71 loss to the Bear Cubs on Wednesday night at FLC. After trailing by nearly 20 points early in the second half, the Falcons whittled that margin to ten but could get no closer. Sophomore Everett Campbell led the Falcons with 24 points on a variety of shots, both inside and outside.
The Falcons will next play on Christmas eve at American River College at 3:00 pm before taking a short break for the holidays. They'll resume Big 8 play on January 7 at Diablo Valley College in Plaeasant Hill.
