Falcon bats go quietly in loss

The Beavers got revenge in Saturday's opening game as they scored the first five runs of the game, in large part due to walks and fielding errors by the Falcons.  In the bottom of the third, hot hitting Troy Shields roped a 2-run double that closed the gap to 5-2, but that would conclude the scoring for either team.  Brian Mueller, Brenden Murray, and Jackson Torsey combined for 4-1/3 hitless inning of relief for the Falcons.
