The Falcons not only managed to beat the rain on Thursday, they also defeated Solano College as well. Relying on a strong effort by starting pitcher Josh Moore, the Falcons made the most of their nine hits and three Solano errors on the way to a 6-2 win. First baseman Nick Schumacher continued his hot streak at the plate with two hits and two RBI (Nick is currently tied for the NorCal lead in home runs and in fifth in RBI). Meanwhile, Moore was coasting along, allowing just one run on four hits over eight innings. The victory was the Falcons' sixth in a row and improved their Bay Valley Conference-leading record to 5-0.
The Falcons are scheduled to play at Solano on Saturday at noon, weather permitting.
