The Falcons travelled to Gilroy yesterday for the rubber match of their three game series with Gavilan College and turned a close game into a rout with a six-run seventh inning and a four-run ninth, eventually winning 14-3. FLC starting pitcher Josh Moore threw six scoreless innings to earn the win, and the bullpen allowed just two hits the rest of the way. Right fielder Tyler Kaim continued his torrid streak at the plate as he drove in four runs with four hits (including two doubles) in six at-bats while improving his team-leading batting average to .375. The Falcons are now off until Friday, when they host Monterey Peninsula for a two-game weekend series (weather and field conditions permitting)
