The FLC volleyball team is officially in a slump. After losing at American River on Friday night in straight sets (25-9, 25-21, 25-19), the Falcons have lost four of their last five matches and have dropped into a tie for 4th place in the Big 8. Sophomore Taylar Schafer was the best of the Falcons with 7 kills, 7 digs, and 2 blocks.
With five Big 8 Conference matches remaining, the Falcons will need to find their mid-season form (when they won 6 straight and 10-of-13) if they hope to make the CCCAA playoffs. They'll travel to Big 8 leader Delta (20-2, 12-0 in Big 8) on Monday for make-up of their postponed match from Oct 26, then play the next three matches at home.
