In Saturday's LA Mission Tournament semi-final, the Falcons fell to a dominant Ventura College team in straight sets, 8-25, 17-25, and 21-25.
Saturday night's match was a battle for the third place trophy against Fullerton College. The Falcons started strong, winning the opening set 25-14. But the Hornets refused to fold and won the next three sets, 25-9, 25-16, and 25-20 to earn third place while sending the Falcons home with a respectable 2-2 record.
