The Falcons celebrated Sophomore Recognition night on Friday night for their final home regular-season match with a 3-set sweep over Sacramento City College, 25-15, 25-20, 25-19. Appropriately, sophomore Caitlin Dillon led the team with 10 kills, and sophomore Kaitlin Bullock served 5 aces. The Falcons (20-5 overall, 11-4 in Big 8 play) will wrap up the regular season on Tuesday night at Santa Rosa. By virtue of their fourth place finish in the Big 8, the best seed they can hope for in the upcoming CCCAA state playoffs is #7, which would mean a home playoff match on Tuesday, November 26. Pairings will be announced on Thursday (Nov 21).
