The Falcons began a very busy weekend with a Big 8 Conference match at Cosumnes River on Friday night before heading to on to Santa Cruz for Saturday's Cabrillo Tournament. The Falcons wasted little time at their Friday night stop, sweeping the Hawks in three sets, 25-22, 25-16, 25-14 to improve their Big 8 record to 3-2. Sophomore Kaitlin Bullock carried the load, recording 12 kills and 12 digs while Yasmine Sowell-Scott had 4 service aces to complement her 6 kills.
From South Sacramento, the Falcons headed on to Santa Cruz, where on Saturday they would face undefeated and #1 ranked Feather River at 2:00 pm, then play #18 Cabrillo immediately following at 4:00 pm.
