Women’s volleyball concludes regular season with 3-1 win over American River

The playoff-bound FLC women's volleyball team closed out their 2017 regular season with a 3-1 victory at American River College on Tuesday night, winning 25-13, 25-23, 21-25, and 25-21.  Sophomore Kylie Haverson had a monster game, pounding 21 kills to go along with her 26 digs.  Meggie Bolstad served 3 aces and had 19 digs to bolster the defense, and setter Sam Hegseth sparked the attack with her 33 assists.  The Falcons finish the Big 8 schedule at 13-3 (22-4 overall) and are anxiously awaiting Thursday's seeding meeting to learn their playoff fate.  They'll likely host a first round match next Tuesday (November 21).
