Volleyball team sweeps CRC

The FLC women's volleyball team made quick work of their trip to south Sacramento on Wednesday evening as they defeated Los Rios sister-college Cosumnes River in straight sets, 25-16, 25-15, and 25-10 at CRC.  With setter Samantha Hegseth having her best match of the season - recording 30 assists to go with her 11 digs - the Falcons took care of their business in just over an hour.  Sophomore Isabel Mason did a little of everything, recording 9 kills and leading the team with 14 digs.   Kylie Haverson led the team with 13 kills, while Analyse Stapleton was quietly having an all-around solid game with 6 kills, 10 digs, and 3 blocks.  The Falcons are now 2-0 in Big 8 play and improved to 8-1 overall.  They will host Lassen College on Friday afternoon in a non-conference match at 2:00 pm.
