The Falcons closed out their regular season with a home-court victory over Diablo Valley on Wednesday night, 25-19, 25-23, 21-25, and 25-19. Despite not playing anywhere near their best volleyball, the Falcons avenged an early season five-set loss to DVC in Pleasant Hill. Sophomore Alexis Mauck, playing in her final home game for FLC, tallied 30 digs while freshman Kylie Haverson added to her Big 8-leading kills stats with 19. With the victory, the Falcons finish in fourth place in the Big 8 Conference with a 10-6 record (19-8 overall). The Falcons will now wait for the results of the NorCal regional seeding meeting, to be released later on Thursday, to learn their opponent for the CCCAA state playoffs. The likely scenario has them playing somewhere on the road on Tuesday November 22.
