Women's tennis makes quick work of Shasta

The Falcons took a long drive for quick win on Tuesday afternoon, shutting out Shasta College 9-0 in Redding.  To be fair, the Knights have been without a women's tennis team the last two years and are in the midst of re-establishing the program.  So while the win was an easy one for the Falcons, they also did it with some class as they praised their opponents' efforts and encouraged them to keep getting better.  With the win, the Falcons improved to 4-1 in Big 8 Conference play and will wrap up their conference schedule against Diablo Valley next Tuesday (March 13) in a make-up match.
