Falcons top Solano, 7-2

The Falcon women soundly defeated the newest member of the Big 8 tennis conference, Solano College, on Thursday afternoon at the FLC Tennis Complex, 7-2.  With the win, the Falcons improved to 5-0 overall and 3-0 in Big 8 Conference play.  Abriana Rowe, Erin Cline, Laura Parkyn, and Nicole Chumpitaz all won in both singles and doubles on a sun-drenched afternoon.  With Diablo Valley unable to field a team in 2017, the Falcons have today off.  They'll play two non-conference matches next week, then face American River for the Big 8 title in two weeks.
