Women’s Soccer Continues Postseason Run

Folsom – After a scoreless 55 minutes, the Reedley College Tigers jumped ahead (1-0) of the Falcons off a penalty. The Falcons then scored 3 unanswered goals to defeat the Tigers by a final of 3-1.

Freshman Tea Reyes scored the equalizer in the 57th off an assist from Mia Ramos. In the 70th minute, Carlee Kramer found the back of the net for the game winner with an assist from Grace Pratt. The final whistle blew after an emphatic breakaway and finish by Grace Pratt that put the Falcons up 3-1.

The Falcons improve to a 15-3-3 overall record with a .875 (10-1-1) winning percentage at home. Grace Pratt leads the team in goals (12) as well as in assists (12).

The Falcons now advance to one of two NorCal Regional Finals where they will travel to Fresno to take on the No. 2 seed, Clovis Community College Rush on Saturday, November 25th at 2:00 pm.

At stake is the opportunity to be one of two teams to represent Northern California in the 3C2A State Championship on December 1st at Mt. San Antonio College.  The other NorCal Regional Final features fellow Big 8 Conference member, and No. 5 seed, Cosumnes River College and the No. 8 seed, San Francisco City College.

Clovis and Folsom Lake faced off against each other twice last year. The Falcons won the first game 3-2 and in the 2nd game, the Falcons pulled off a 4-3 pk victory after a scoreless tie in regulation of the 2nd round of the 2022 3C2A NorCal Regional.
