On Sunday, the Falcons came out a little flat but managed a first-half goal in the 38th minute when Emma Thompson crossed to Sarah Freed for a 1-0 lead, which turned out to be the only goal of the match.
"It wasn't our sharpest outing," coach Donny Ribaudo noted. "However, every good team finds a way to get the result, even when things aren't going well. It was a long weekend and two good results. I'm happy for the team's success."
The Falcons will work hard this week in preparation for Friday's match at West Hills Lemoore. They'll play at Folsom next Tuesday, September 10, when they host Feather River at 3:30 pm.
