Falcons looking forward to finally playing at home!

After starting the season with four consecutive road games, the Folsom Lake College women's soccer team is eagerly anticipating their 2018 home opener against Delta College on Friday, September 14 at 7:00 pm.  So far in 2018, the Falcons have traveled to San Jose, Clovis, Fairfield, and across town to American River for their early-aeason matches.  On Friday, they'll be part of a home doubleheader at Falcon Stadium, following the FLC men's match vs. Contra Costa College at 4:00 pm.

With just three returning sophomores, the Falcons feature a young squad with a deep history of success, having won conference titles in each of their first five seasons of competition.  In order to keep that streak alive, the Falcons will need to gel early as a team; Big 8 Conference play gets under way today (Tuesday Sept 11) at American River.  Sophomore midfielder Riley Spitzer has been a key contributor to the Falcons' success with two goals and one assist through the first three matches, while freshman sensation Sarah Freed has adapted to the college game quickly, scoring six goals with one assist.
