Women’s Soccer Seeded #2, Will Play At Home Throughout Playoffs

With their fourth consecutive conference title in hand – this one a co-championship in their first season in the Big 8 – the Falcons head to the CCCAA state playoffs as the number two seed in northern California.  Big 8 co-champs Diablo Valley earned the number one seed by virtue of higher number of power points (the system used to rank teams based on record and strength-of-schedule).  The Falcons (15-3-3) will open the playoffs on Saturday, November 19 against a familiar foe: former Bay Valley Conference rival Mendocino College (14-2-5) at 5:00 pm in Falcon Stadium.  Ticket prices for all CCCAA state playoffs are set by the CCCAA and are as follows:

General Admission:  $12

Students/Staff/Seniors/Kids under 12:  $8

(sorry, no passes are accepted)

With the number two seed, the Falcons will play at home as long as they stay alive in the playoffs.  The second round would be on Tuesday, November 22.
