Women's Soccer Completes 3rd Straight Undefeated BVC Season

The Falcon women successfully defended their two Bay Valley Conference titles with another undefeated run through the conference, culminating with Friday night's 7-1 win over Mendocino.  Seven different players scored for the Falcons: Jaqui Ortega, Sam Madsen, Sami Thomas, McKenna Dunn, Andrea Martinez, Karina Torres, and Paige Florio all tallied one goal apiece.   Freshman Hannah O'Donnell contributed with three assists as the Falcons finished the regular season 17-2-2.   Since the women's program started in 2013, the Falcons have compiled a record of 39-0-3 in Bay Valley Conference play (15-0-1 this season), while winning three consecutive BVC titles.  The Falcons must now await the outcome of tomorrow's NorCal seeding meeting to learn their opponent for the first round of the state playoffs, to be held at FLC on Saturday evening (Nov. 21).
