The FLC women's soccer team continued their unbeaten run through the Bay Valley Conference with a dominating 15-0 win over Merritt College yesterday in Oakland. Coach Donny Ribaudo unloaded his bench in the rout, playing everyone on the roster. Multiple goals were scored by two Falcons: sophomore Sami Thomas with 5 goals, and freshman Andrea Martinez with 4 goals. Also contributing single goals were sophomores Jaqui Ortega and Sam Madsen and freshmen Jimena Jovel, Leily Ghods, Kylie Knight, and Hannah O'Donnell. Credited with assists were Ortega (3), Martinez (3), O'Donnell (2), Ghods (2), McKenna Dunn (2), and Madsen, Hannah Klinger, and Chayney Mata with one each. The Falcons' overall record is now 6-1-2 and 5-0-1 in the BVC. College of Marin will play here at FLC on Friday as game one of a men's and women's doubleheader.
