Women's Soccer Opens BVC With Win

The Falcon women turned in an offensive performance that underscored their dominance of the Bay Valley Conference as they opened BVC play last night with a 7-0 win over Napa Valley at Falcon Stadium.  Led by Sam Madsen's two first-half goals and Ciara Modlin's two second-half goals, the Falcons dominated every aspect of the game.  The Falcons also had goals scored by sophomore Sami Thomas and freshmen Paige Florio and Andrea Martinez Assists were credited to Jaqui Ortega, Hannah O'Donnell, Chayney Mata, Tori Pearson,  Martinez, and Florio.  The balanced scoring attack and smothering defense allowed coach Donny Ribaudo to play his entire bench in the blowout win.

With the victory, the Falcons improved their record to 3-0-1 and are 1-0 in BVC play.  Their next opponent is Delta College, a non-conference match that will be played at U.O.P. in Stockton on Friday night at 7:00 pm.
