Women Win Big Again

For the second straight game, the FLC women scored eleven goals and shut out their overmatched opponent.  Seven different players scored for the Falcons, including three by freshman Alexis Wallace, giving her eight for the seasonMaddie Michaels and Caitlin Castle scored two apiece, while Paty Navarro, Rozzlyn Sovereign, Chayney Mata, and Nathalee Allen all tallied one goal.  Although she didn't score a goal, sophomore Michelle Kimball helped out with three assists, and Danielle Otto chipped in with two.  Also recording assists were Anna Atteberry, Brianna Buckle, Paty Navarro, Caitlin Castle, and regular goalkeeper Alison Darr (who played forward again yesterday).  For the second straight game, Maddy Ellis and Hannah Smith shared goalkeeper duties and shut out the opponent.  Coach Donny Ribaudo credited Nathalee Allen with Player of the Game honors, saying, "She scored her first collegiate goal yesterday.  She's improving each week and her athleticism is really starting to show."  The Falcons improved their record to 7-2 overall and 3-0 in the BVC.  They have a bye on Friday, then play at Los Medanos in Pittsburg next Tuesday.
