Falcon women set scoring mark in blowout win over Yuba

The Folsom Lake women's basketball team enjoyed a pre-Thanksgiving feast on Wednesday night with a record-setting 102-50 runaway over Yuba College in Marysville.  The Falcons eclipsed the 100-point mark for the first time in program history and broke their single-game record of 98 set just last week against Cuesta.  Five Falcons scored in double figures, led by sophomore Reya Lee, who poured in 22 points while sinking 4-of-6 three-pointers.  Sophomore forward Megan Williams just missed a double-double with 15 points and 9 rebounds, Corrie Harrison added 15 points, and sophomore point guard Macie Purbaugh dished out a school-record 17 assists!

The Falcons improved to 7-0 for the first time in program history and will look to extend their winning streak on Thursday when they play the first of three games at the Toys For Tots Tournament at Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria, facing Hancock (5-2) at 7:00 pm.  They'll also play Fresno City (4-2) on Friday and Cerritos (3-3) on Saturday.
