Falcon women open season with dominant win at Shasta

The Folsom Lake women's basketball team opened their 2022-23 season on Tuesday night with a solid 66-48 win over Shasta College in Redding.  The Falcons jumped out to an early 16-point lead in the first quarter and cruised to victory from there withall 11 players in uniform seeing game action.  Four players scored in double figures, led by freshman Alysa Lopez with 13 points.  Freshman Corrie Harrison recorded a double-double with her 11 points/16 rebounds stat line, and sophomore Eva Graf was 3-for-4 on three-pointers and finished with 11 points and 6 rebounds.  The Falcons out-rebounded the Knights 45-28 and were perfect (5-of-5) from the free throw line.

The Falcons will host Lassen College on Thursday evening (5:30 pm) for their 2022 home opwner.
