Falcons roll to 41-point win over Modesto
The Falcon women earned their fifth Big 8 Conference victory on Thursday night with a relatively easy 89-46 win over Modesto at Falcon Gym. Five Falcons scored in double figures while two more nearly did, scoring 8 points each. Sophomore Alma Perez shot 72% (8 of 11) on her way to 20 points and 13 rebounds. She also dished out 3 assists and had 3 steals just for good measure. Freshman Diana Subina had 16 points off the bench, Nicole Ayala scored 15, and Megan Macheel and Shay Boley added 11 points each. With two games left in their season, the Falcons are 5-9 and in 6th place in Big 8 play. They'll play at Sierra (10-4, 19-7 overall) on Tuesday night, then finish with a home game against Santa Rosa (7-7, 11-12 overall) on Friday.
