Falcons win by 43!!
The Falcons played perhaps their finest game of the season on Tuesday night, resulting in an 89-46 romp over Yuba College at Falcon Gym. The Falcons were firing on all cylinders, with shots dropping from 3-point range as well as from inside. Sophomore Alma Perez hit four 3-pointers on her way to 18 points, while freshman Diana Sabina equaled that output with 18 points of her own. Sophomore Nicole Ayala dominated the paint with 12 points, and freshman guard Shay Boley started to look like her pre-knee injury self again with 8 assists, 3 steals, and 8 points. The Falcons shot 58% from the field -their best of the season – and 54% from 3-point range while defensively harassing the 49ers to a 28% shooting night . The win improved the Falcons' record to 8-13, a huge improvement over last year. They'll play at Big 8 leader Delta on Friday night, then have three of their final four games at Falcon Gym.
