The Falcons drew the tough task of facing state #1 ranked Diablo Valley on Friday, just three days after the Vikings saw their season-long 21-game winning streak snapped at Sierra. So not only were the Falcons facing the best team in the state, but an angry one at that. The Vikings dominated from the tipoff and rode it all the way to a 92-48 blowout win over the Falcons. Sophomore Alma Perez was the only Falcon in double figures with 12 points on 5-of-11 shooting (45%).
The Falcons have a non-conference game against Yuba on Tuesday night at Falcon Gym (6:00 pm), then will play at Delta on Friday.
