The FLC women's basketball traveled to Sacramento City on Tuesday night with hopes of repeating their January victory over the Panthers, but the host Panthers would have none of it as they pulled away in the second half to win, 86-65. The Panthers steadily wore down the Falcons, extending their 5-point halftime lead to 12 after three quarters before winning by 21. Alma Perez led the Falcons with 25 points while Angelina Contreras added 12. Their inaugural 2017-18 season finishes with a game at Modesto on Thursday night.
