The inaugural Folsom Lake women's basketball team opened their first season with an historic 82-78 victory over Mission College on Friday night at the Mission Tournament in Santa Clara. Freshman guard Angelina Contreras led the team with 35 points while knocking down seven 3-pointers. Alma Perez added 16 points (three 3-pointers) and recorded 5 assists, while Faith Wilson scored 15 points and pulled down 10 rebounds. The Falcons sank 12 threes and were 20 of 24 from the free throw line.
