Folsom Lake College Softball Ready to Shine in 2025 Fall Schedule
The 2025 fall softball season is about to begin, and the excitement is building for Falcon Softball! Head Coach Amber Grahlman added strength within the coaching staff with new Co-Head Coach, Felix Vigil, Pitching Coach Keri Casas, and Assistant Coach, Jayson Meyer! The Falcons welcome back Coach Indiana Coxey in her 2nd season and along with the new additions provides an incredible amount of fire power, experience and ability to continue transferring student athletes to Four Year Universities.
The Falcons are gearing up for an action-packed schedule that will challenge them against some of the top programs in Northern California.
The Falcons will open the season hosting a double header against Feather River College on October 3, giving fans their first glimpse of the team's new roster, chemistry, and energy. Followed by a road trip at San Jose City College on Sat, October 4 at 1pm. From there, the schedule takes off with an impressive lineup of four-year opponents, providing the perfect stage for the Falcons to showcase their talent.
The Falcons will take the field against, Sacramento State University (NCAA-I) on Friday, Oct. 10 at 230pm. On Saturday, October 11th, they travel to Dominican University (NCAA-II) to play a doubleheader at 12pm. The following weekend, Saturday, October 18, they will host, Simpson College (NAIA) at 12pm and San Francisco State University (NCAA-II) at 430pm a Falcon Stadium!
On Saturday, October 25th they will travel back to the bay to take on Menlo College (NCAA-II) on Friday, October 25th for a doubleheader at 11am/1pm.
The Falcons play their second NCAA-I, away at Fresno State University on Friday, Nov. 7 at 3pm.
These games represent not just competition, but opportunity—the chance for FLC's athletes to measure themselves against established NCAA programs while gaining exposure at the next level.
They conclude their fall competition by traveling to Merced College to play a 3 way vs Hartnell College on Friday, November 21st at 12pm and 2pm.
"This fall is about growth, competition, and showcasing our student athletes to Four Year Universities", said Coach Grahlman.
Beyond the diamond, the team will also host their annual Homerun-A-Thon Fundraiser on November 22, a fan-favorite event that blends fun, competition, and community support.
With an outstanding coaching staff, a schedule packed with high-caliber opponents, and a roster full of talent and determination, Folsom Lake College softball is setting the tone for what promises to be a thrilling 2026 season campaign. Fans can expect high energy, fierce competition, and plenty of moments to cheer for as the Falcons soar into their fall season.
