Softball Faces Tough Loss to American River
Sacramento - In a crucial conference game, the Folsom Lake Falcons took on the American River Beavers, aiming to snap a five-game losing streak. However, despite their efforts, the Falcons couldn't secure the win.
The Falcons struggled at the plate, managing only three hits throughout the game. Miranda Morelos stood out with two hits, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Beavers.
Pitcher Aila Lyden put in a solid performance, allowing just two earned runs, but without any run support, wasn't able to secure a victory as the Beavers earned the win by a final score of 2-0.
The Falcons turn their focus to their next game against Sacramento City College. They'll aim to bounce back and secure a much-needed win as they strive to finish the season on a winning note in the competitive Big 8 conference.
