Falcons Take Game One of Super Regional in Extra Innings
Stockton, CA – The number 5 seeded, Delta College Mustangs needed a 7th inning run to tie the game at 5 and send game one of the CCCAA Softball Super Regional into extra innings, but the 13 seeded Falcons were able to score two runs off a double by Emma Gaytan in the top of the 9th inning to win the game by a final of 7-5. The Falcons need to win one game on Saturday to advance to the CCCAA Softball State Championship. Game 2 is scheduled to start at 2:00 pm and if needed, game 3 would start after the conclusion of game 2.
