Softball's Thompson signs with San Diego Christian University

Falcon sophomore catcher/outfielder Katie Thompson has accepted a scholarship to continue her education and softball career at San Diego Christian University.  A product of Oakhurst, California's Mariposa High School, Thompson transferred to Folsom Lake after her freshman year at Reedley College and compiled a .297 batting average for the Falcons.  She earned a 4.0 GPA during her spring semester (during softball season) and was awarded the 2018-19 "Fighting Falcon Award" at the All-Sports Awards Night in May.
