Big 8 Conference leaders Delta College hosted the Falcons for a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon and came out on top in both contests by identical 8-0 scores. In game one, the Mustang pitcher blanked the falcons on just three hits while striking out six and walking none. Falcon Araya Corral had two of those hits, raising her batting average to .291.
The Falcon bats showed signs of life in game two with seven total hits, but they couldn't put enough hits together to any score runs. Jessi Lawhorn tallied three hits to lead the offense.
