Saturday's softball doubleheader at Sacramento City was over quickly as the Panthers won both games in five innings, 8-0 and 10-2. The Falcons managed just two hits in the opening game while City's catcher, Elizabeth Caffero, led the Panthers' offensive attack with two doubles and a home run.
In the second game, the Falcons had two hits each from centerfielder Hope Ferri and 1B Tatyana Rosen, but it was not enough as the Panthers pounded out 14 hits off starter McKenna Rickles. The Falcons (4-19) will close out the 2018 season on Tuesday against Big 8 leader Sierra (20-3) at Falcon Diamond.
