The Falcons had hoped to get their fourth Big 8 victory of the season on Tuesday afternoon in Santa Rosa, but fell short with a 4-1 loss to the Bear Cubs. The game was tied 1-1 until the Bear Cubs scored three in the fifth. The Falcons again failed to get the timely hits they needed, as they stranded eight runners on base. They'll play a non-conference doubleheader (rain makeup) today against Shasta at 12 and 2 pm, then host Modesto tomorrow (Thursday) at Falcon Diamond at 5:00 pm.
