Falcons remain hot with 5-inning win at Cabrillo

On Saturday, the Falcons again took to the road for an afternoon doubleheader at Cabrillo College in Aptos.  In the opener, the Falcons picked up where they left off on Thursday as they won 14-4 in five innings.  Leading 5-2 after two innings, the Falcons blew the game open with a 9-run fifth inning.  Lefty pitcher Lauren Orris went the distance, allowing just two earned runs on five hits.  Sophomore centerfielder McKenna Rickles hit her 2nd home run of the season while driving in four runs on three hits, and freshman Hope Ferri added three hits and two RBI to deluge.
