After being shut out in their opening game, the Falcons suddenly remebered how to hit in game two against Shasta, but could not overvcome eight defensive errors as they lost to the Knights, 8-5. Starting pitcher McKenna Rickles was touched up for three runs in the first - with the help of poor fielding - but responded with her own leadoff home run in the bottom of the first. While the Falcons' offense kept scoring runs, the defensive errors kept giving the lead back to the Knights. The loss drops the Falcons' record to 4-23 with ten games remaining. They'll host Cosumnes River in a doubleheader on Saturday.
