Softball team loses two at Solano

The Falcons went up against Bay Valley Conference leader Solano College in Fairfield on Tuesday afternoon, losing 8-0 and 14-6.  The first game started out as a pitcher's duel with Solano leading 2-0 through four innings before breaking it open in the fifth and sixth innings.  Game 2 saw Solano build a 9-run lead early before the Falcons scored five runs to close it to 10-6.  They'd get no closer, though, as Solano added four in the sixth to end the game.  The Falcons' offense was led by Gabi Segura's four hits (three in game 2).  The losses drop FLC's record to 4-6 in BVC play, with a home doubleheader against Yuba (5-5) on Thursday next on the schedule.
