Falcons finish strong at state tennis championships
The Folsom Lake College men's and women's tennis teams both sent two singles players and two doubles pairs to the CCCAA State Championship tournament in Ojai and both teams came home with similar results. In singles, sophomore Anjelica Frank and freshman Stephen Morley both won their respective first-round matches before losing in the round of 32. On the men's side, the doubles team of Morley and Dan Alves advanced all the way to the round of 16 with wins over Bakersfield and Desert before finally losing to the eventual state runner-up duo from Cerritos. For the women, the team of Frank and Abriana Rowe won their first and second round matches over Fullerton and Desert before losing to the eventual state champions from Cerritos in the round of 16.

Stephen Morley defeated Grossmont 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 B Lee/D Lee lost to Mt San Jacinto 7-5, 5-7, 10-5
2nd Rd: Morley lost to Cerritos 6-0, 6-2 2nd Rd: Alves/Morley defeated Desert 6-2, 2-6, 10-7
3rd Rd: Alves/Morley lost to Cerritos 6-2, 6-2
