Falcons shut out DVC, secure second place in Big 8

The Falcons finally found a dry day to play their final Big 8 Conference match and wasted little time shutting out Diablo Valley, 9-0.  The Falcons did not lose a single set to the Vikings as they secured their hold on second place.  Head coach Patrick Rutz was able to play eight players, yet still earned the shutout win.  The Falcons (4-1, 7-2 overall) must now face Big 8 number one seed American River for the Conference title on Friday at ARC.
