Falcons battle, lose to Chabot in final non-conference match

The Falcons prepped for their Big 8 opener with a non-conference match at Chabot College on Thursday afternoon, but the results were not what they'd hoped for as they fell to the Gladiators.  

The Falcon men gave the Gladiators a good challenge but eventually lost 7-2.  With three matches going to tie breakers, the outcome could easily have been 5-4 in the Falcons' favor.  "We let them off the hook," noted head coach Patrick Rutz.  "We'll get them next time, hopefully in the playoffs."
