With back-to-back road games in the central valley, the Falcons faced a challenging weekend as they headed south on Friday morning. The first stop was Visalia, where they took on College of Sequoias on Friday afternoon. With a 2-0 lead after a goal by sophomore Erik Mattice and another credited to the Folsom Lake team, the Falcons appeared on their way to victory. But the Giants did not give up and fought their way back with two goals of their own to earn a 2-2 tie. The result was shocking for the Falcons, as the Giants entered the match with a lowly 1-9-1 record.
