Win number 11 for Falcons!
The Falcons opened their crossover weeks – a 2-week break in the Big 8 schedule when they play five matches against Central Valley Conference teams – with a solid 3-0 victory over Clovis College on Tuesday afternoon at Falcon Stadium. Mouad Zehnouni got the scoring started for the Falcons with a goal in the 27th minute off a perfectly place centering pass from Adam Ratto. Fifteen minutes later, Tommy Flores found the net after a creative one-on-one move for a 2-0 Falcon lead. Early in the second half, the Falcons notched their final goal when Ethan Viers headed in a pass from Miguel Medina. Goalkeepers Federico Ruiz and Kody Madore teamed up for the shutout, each taking a half. The Falcons are now 11-1-1 overall and will play two road matches this weekend; at College of Sequoias on Friday afternoon and at Taft on Saturday.
