The Falcons opened their Big 8 schedule on Friday in south Sacramento and came away with a 0-0 draw against district-rival Cosumnes River. Although the Falcons controlled possession time and outshot the Hawks, 9-3, the majority of the match was played in the middle third of the field. Freshmen Mason Lopez and Andrew Ratto were named "men of the match" for their defensive contributions.
