Men’s soccer earns a tie at Clovis

The Falcon men hit the road on Tuesday for a non-conference crossover match at Clovis and came home with a hard-earned 1-1 tie.  The Falcons fell behind early when Clovis scored off a penalty kick in the first half.  But with just ten minutes left in the second half, freshman Eric Pye entered the match and scored the equalizer on his very first touch of the ball.  His goal earned him "Man of the Match" honors, ironically in his first game action for the Falcons.  The men will host College of the Sequoias this Friday afternoon at 4:00 pm as they continue their crossover matches with the Central Valley Conference through next week.
