Men’s Soccer Team Off To Best Start Ever!
The FLC men's soccer team continued their run of early-season success with Friday's 2-1 victory over Ohlone College in Fremont. Sophomore Jose Muñoz put the Falcons ahead in the 20th minute with his first goal of 2017. Early in the second half, Luis Aguilar found Austyn Ciampa with a feed that resulted in the Falcons' second goal and a 2-0 lead. The Falcon defense stifled the Renegades, allowing their only goal by virtue of a penalty kick with just five minutes left in the match. The win gives the Falcons a record of 4-1-1, their best mark through six games in the history of FLC men's soccer. The men have no contests this week, but return to action at home next Tuesday (Sept 19) against Gavilan College before they begin Big 8 Conference play on Friday, Sept. 22 at Modesto.
