The FLC men's soccer team could easily change their name to The Heartbreak Kids. They spent most of Tuesday afternoon's home game controlling the ball and dominating play against College of Marin, but were undone by a Marin breakaway goal and eventually lost 1-0. The Falcons again outshot their opponent, taking twice as many shots as the Mariners, but failed to put one in the net. The defense was its usual stingy self, rarely allowing the Marin team any chances to get near the goal. The loss drops the Falcons to 1-3 in the Bay Valley Conference, 2-9-1 overall.
