Falcon Men Fall to Lake Tahoe; Open BVC This Friday

The FLC men's soccer team braved smoke and Highway 50 yesterday to take on the men from Lake Tahoe Community College.  The Falcons' scoring drought continued as they were defeated 2-0 by another team made up primarily of foreigners.  FLC goalkeeper Patrick McDade had another stellar game; the only goals given up were both were scored on penalty kicks. 

The Falcons look to turn things around this Friday when they open Bay Valley Conference play at home against Merritt College.  "It will be nice to finally play a home game," noted FLC coach Martin Roberts.  The Falcons have played six consecutive road games from Redding to Monterey over the past 3 ½ weeks.
