Falcons edge Napa

The FLC men's golf team captured their first victory of the 2020 season on Monday as they edged Napa Valley by one stroke in Big 8 tournament #2 at Oakdale Country Club.  Freshman Noah Woehler led the Falcons with his 78, the only FLC player to shoot under 80.  Head coach Barry Zarecky was pleased to get the win, but recognized that his team is not playing very good golf right now.  "The good news is that we won.  But we're making too many mistakes from tee to green, and too many 3-putts."  The Falcons will play Big 8 tournament #3 at Chardonnay Golf Club in Napa on Wednesday.
